How does a photo session like this work?
It’s super relaxed and I guide you through the whole process
Step 1.
CUSTOMISE YOUR SESSION
Once you’ve registered your gift certificate above I’ll be in touch to plan a completely customised session for you and your new puppy, at a location that is safe for them and special to you.
Step 2.
EMBRACE THE CHAOS
The photoshoot is centred around your puppy and the people that love them. We’ll adjust the session according to their energy, with lots of time for cuddles, play and laughter.
Step 3.
RELIVE THESE MEMORIES
Together we’ll custom design your artwork collection and a few weeks later, your printed artwork will be delivered, ready to hang on you walls and bring a smile to your face each day.

Your session is centred around your dogs personality and how you spend time together

We are based in Victoria although frequently travel to SA too and so we don’t charge travel fees for either of these states.
If you are elsewhere in the country, you can join our travel waitlist.
You also have the option of paying a small travel fee to get me there sooner (this can also be waived if you have a couple of friends who also book).
Alternatively, we can refer you to our local photographer partner near you who will honour your perk.

Your session can be at a beach, park, in the mountains or the bush, at your home or holiday home- wherever is special to you and suits everyone in the photos. We’ll confirm this on our planning call.

Excluding special offers, we don’t impose time limits so most sessions last for at least an hour, often two, but we’re also up for all-day adventures too! (Perfect if you want to go out on the boat, or hiking for an afternoon or just give extra time for everyone to relax around me).
For the best natural light, we usually shoot first thing in the morning, or in the last two hours of the day.
Weekends can be accommodated although they usually booked up fast.

Unless you or the sender purchased a special offer, it usually covers the $250 session fee and the balance can be put toward artwork.
The value or inclusions are stated on the gift certificate.

While the gift certificate covers the session, we might request a $100 reservation deposit to hold your session date and time. Typically this is only if a business gifted you the voucher or, if you won it.
This fee is in place to avoid last minute cancellations since the entire day will be blocked off our calendar for you.
The $100 reservation deposit is applied as additional credit to your order, or refunded if you don’t love your images.
This doesn’t apply if you or someone in your home purchased the gift certificate.

Images start at $250 each and our vouchers always have enough credit included to purchase at least one image however, most of our clients spend beyond the inclusions.
You’ll likely spend upward of $1000, but you wouldn’t be the first to spend 5 figures.
Most importantly, we’ll design a collection that suits your goals and budget and discuss all of this on the call prior to booking.

Your session will be reschedule if storms or bad weather is forecast and your shoot is outdoors.
Due to Victoria’s unpredictable weather, we try to wait as late as possible to decide but we’ll chat the day before.
Hi, I’m Kirstie
Specialist pet photographer
I basically grew up on horse back, and if I wasn’t in the paddock, then I was most likely teaching our blue heeler new tricks. My love for animals doesn’t stop at my own though, which is why I’ve spent more than a decade photographing (and cuddling) the adored pets of Australia and Europe with their families (both adults and tiny humans!).
You may noticed when we meet that I completely ignore your puppy- no matter how much I want to cuddle them, it’s important that we let them choose when that time is. This little trick is one of many that I have to ensure that your dog is relaxed, and we can capture the most natural portraits of them for you.
