Relaxed photography for families, couples, and their four-legged companions
From the beaches of Sorrento to the wineries of Red Hill, the coastal walks of Cape Schanck to the hot springs and charming seaside towns – the Mornington Peninsula is made for adventure.
Let’s turn your favourite Mornington Peninsula moments with loved ones into beautiful, timeless portraits.
From sipping a glass at a sun-soaked winery to catching a wave at your favourite back beach, hiking along a coastal bush trail, or relaxing at your holiday home, I’ll come to the spots that matter most to you. Your session fee includes travel across the Mornington Peninsula, so your memories can be captured exactly where they happen.
If there’s a meaningful place to you beyond the Peninsula, I’d love to join you there too. A slightly higher booking fee applies, but the full amount is returned as print credit—so you can take home beautiful keepsakes from the places you love most.

The Peninsula’s best locations
for photoshoots
Vineyards of Red Hill & Main Ridge
Whether you own a small vineyard, dream of one day having your own, or simply love a good glass of wine, the vineyards of the Peninsula hinterland offer a stunning way to weave that passion into your portraits. I especially love a relaxed picnic among the vines—perfect for couples, and just as beautiful for families.
For more formal sessions, like classic extended family portraits, vineyards provide an elegant backdrop that works wonderfully. Many estates are also accessible for those with limited mobility, making them a versatile choice for all generations.
It’s a setting that naturally invites elegance, celebration, and connection.
Your shoot can take place at your own property, a friend’s, or—if you don’t have vineyard connections—don’t worry, I do.
Perfect for: Couples who love wine country, families gathering across generations, and groups of friends making memories over long lunches in the vines.
Tassels Cove, Safety Beach
For so many local pups, Tassell’s Cove is where their social life began—splashing in the shallows, chasing new friends, and playing hide and seek among the rocks and caves. It’s a place layered with memories, and the perfect backdrop to capture many more. Yes, it’s popular (and you may have to dodge a sandy shake or two!), but that playful energy can bring so much personality into your photos.
Alongside the rugged rocks and clear shallows, the colourful beach boxes add a fun pop of brightness to the natural coastal backdrop—giving you variety and a touch of Peninsula charm in your images. I often suggest pairing Tassell’s Cove with a quieter nearby location too, so you can enjoy both lively, candid shots and calmer moments.
Perfect for: Confident dogs who won’t be overstimulated by meeting new four-legged friends.
Sorrento
Sorrento, with its historic charm, chic cafés, and beaches on both sides, offers variety like no other town on the Peninsula.
I love capturing your morning SUP, kids building sandcastles or collecting shells with Grandma, or couples on their boat, sharing a quiet moment as the sun dips behind the cliffs with a glass of sparkling in hand.
Sorrento provides a backdrop that feels both relaxed and elegant, letting your laughter, connection, and joy shine through in every portrait.
Perfect for: Multi-generational portraits at the family beach house, couples enjoying quiet moments together, and families making the most of summers in Sorrento.
Shoreham Beach
It’s a typical morning for you at the beach—just this time, I’m there to gently direct and capture the magic unfolding. Shoreham Beach is my favourite sunrise backdrop on the Peninsula, quiet and serene, with the light spilling across the sand just right.
At low-tide, your kids explore the rock pools, squealing when they spot a crab or a shiny shell. Your dog races along the water’s edge (on a long lead), shaking off waves, and you can’t help but laugh as salty droplets fly everywhere.
Maybe you crouch beside your little ones, helping build the perfect sandcastle, the smell of the ocean mingling with fresh morning air, or pause to watch them run freely along the shore, the sun glinting off the gentle waves.
As the morning light shifts, we wander up into the pines, sunlight streaming through the branches, shadows dancing across the sand, the sound of the ocean still echoing behind you.
Every laugh, every splash, every quiet hug or whispered word becomes part of your story here.
Perfect for: Pet parents and families with young children.
Private Properties
Some of the most meaningful portraits happen at home—especially when that home is your family’s retreat on the Mornington Peninsula. Whether it’s a newly built clifftop estate at Cape Schanck, a generational beach house in Sorrento, or a vineyard hideaway near Point Leo, your space is already the backdrop to your memories, making it the perfect setting for your portraits.
Kids can run barefoot across manicured lawns, dogs can roam freely, and golden sunsets spill over infinity pools. This location works beautifully all year round—cozy winter days spent cooking with Grandma, playing cards with cousins, or curled up with a book by the fire as rain taps on your floor-to-ceiling windows. Sessions here feel both relaxed and refined, capturing your family in a space that already tells your story.
Perfect for: Multi-generational portraits, families who treasure their holiday homes, and couples who want an intimate, private setting.
