Every month, Classico Portraits gifts one complimentary portrait session to someone who selflessly gives their time, energy, and heart to others:

Foster carers
Volunteer first responders
Youth mentors
Animal rescue volunteers
Active non-for-profit organisation members
anyone who shows up for their community in meaningful ways

If someone in your life inspires you through their generosity, kindness, or dedication, you can nominate them below.

Inspired by my dad and grandad, who taught me the importance of helping those around you,
this initiative is our way of honouring those who give so generously.

A celebration of the quiet heroes
who make our communities stronger.

It’s an offering of gratitude to the people who pour so much heart into others,
while also inspiring the wider community to find their own ways to contribute.

How It Works

1. Nominate

You nominate a Community Champion using the form below.
2. Reach Out

We’ll text the nominee to let them know they’ve been nominated.
3. Opt In

If they’re interested, they complete a short form to confirm they’d like to be considered for the session.
4. Gifted Photoshoot

Each month, one nominee is selected to receive a relaxed portrait session with family, pets, or loved ones.
5. Celebrate

With their permission, we share their story as part of our Community Champions series—celebrating the people who make our world kinder.

What they receive

A relaxed, personalised portrait session for family, pets, or couples
Their favourite five images as high-resolution digital files
A special bonus for prints or upgrades, and extra if you (the nominator) are a client of ours

Every community has people who quietly pour their time and energy into helping others. Many don’t seek recognition, yet their generosity shapes the world around them. This initiative is my way of celebrating those people through something meaningful, the gift of portraits that capture their big hearts, while also inspiring others to find ways to contribute to their own communities.

I grew up seeing the impact of giving back: my dad was a long-time member of Apex, and my grandad served as a Rotarian for decades. Their example stayed with me and shaped how I approach life and my business. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to combine my photography with small community projects, like fundraising for animal rescues and community groups.

More recently, my husband and I have begun the process to become foster carers for children and young people. This journey has shown me just how many people quietly support our communities, sparking the idea for this initiative.
